What Grand Seiko Diver is as iconic as the Snowflake?

I purchased a new Grand Seiko Snowflake yesterday, SBGA211. It is suppose to arrive in the next few days. Really excited.

Is there a Grand Seiko diver watch as iconic as the Snowflake?

Not really. Divers are relatively new to the GS brand. There are plenty of "iconic" regular Seiko diver designs though, from a couple of hundred $$ to several thousand.

Go Seiko as opposed to GS and look at the SLA lineup.

Speaking of which, I've become more and more enthralled with the spring drive movement and specifically the SBGA211.

Would you folks say this is the best bang for your buck in the spring drive line?

titanium, power reserve indicator, snowflake dial, blued second hand...

FedEx shipped mine out today and it should arrive tomorrow. Can't wait!

A Snowflake is a must in any collection. The smoothness of the second hand is amazing!

Nice!

Please post pictures.

I see you can order the Snowflake online but I may order from a local dealer who also sells Patek and maybe the GS is my gateway.

Have to tie up a few things though first.

As others have said, not a Grand Seiko, but Turtles are pretty much up there. Also a massive fan of the SPB237 Willard...

Don’t tease me like that Doc. Give us a diver in a sane size!

Captain Willard is definitely the go to Seiko diving watch with iconic history...

Personally, I've never worn one, only my SKX007
