Pam 312 or 535/537?

Hello everyone,

I’m going to buy my first Panerai. I want a luminor with small second hand and date (without cyclop), so I’m thinking whether I should get a 312 or a 535/537.

For the 312, I like the sandwich dial, as I think the sandwich dial is the one of the most significant thing of Panerai. And it is cheaper.

For the 535/537, I think the hobnail dial is stunning. Also, I like the original strap very much.

Please give me some advice, thanks!

I prefer the 535/537 with it’s more unique dial and power reserve. The 312 is a bit boring for me but not a bad choice either if this will be your only PAM.

No wrong answer. Best answer is which one you like best.

I prefer personally the 312, but that doesn’t mean it’s right for you.

Personally I prefer 351 over those others, enough pop of color on the dial but not too much with the gold hands

535 IMO, the dial is awesome and having the PR on the back makes it look more clear less busy....

312 if only those two. But definitely the 320 if you can spring the additional $500 for the GMT function, which can be hidden under the hour hand, if that look is desired.

Yes. The 351 looks so good. Thank you for the suggestion and I think I’m going to buy the 351. I love the tabacco dial so much.

Have and love the 311 but it is very heavy and sits high on the wrist.... Which it should... Because it's a Panerai

44 mm thick 312 vs 42 mm will sit much different on your wrist. plus there is a weight difference. personal preference works best
