We love the 5 dogs in our family (spread out between my wife and I plus three grown sons). The "pups" as I call them are part of our family. Our home is their home as much as it is ours. As long as we have something to eat, so do they.

Enjoy your new friend, OP.

Thanks everyone, he is a fun playful pup. He is 8 weeks old, he loves to run, play and loves shoes. This is our first venture into the dog world. So it’s been a little challenging to get used to having a baby in the house.
We are learning his signs of when he needs to go potty outside, and now we are trying to start to do things like training him to know his name and control the biting. I realize he is teething, so every time he does the little bites on our hands etc, we dissuade him with one of his toys. Apparently, this is a way of guiding him to biting toys and not you eventually.
Anymore tips from the experienced dog owners here would be great!

Nicholas, what a delightful ball of fluff.
Congratulations.

p.s. Try clicker training. Works.
