Please share what $1200 does to your kitchen. I added another zero to get someone to return my calls.

If that’s all the money you have, perhaps you should do neither.

Right? It might fill the refrigerator, and leave a little leftover for dishwasher detergent.

Maybe a DIY job? I suppose you could paint and do a backsplash but even then it never ends with ‘improvements’.

Not everyone lives in the US/UK/(enter expensive place here) :) OP's location is important...

OP... Kitchen improvements first and patience with the new dial

I DIYed my granite countertops and it still cost me $1100...(note: it wasn’t safe with a watch)

If you only have 1.2k don't buy a Rolex (you can't for that price) or do anything to your kitchen.

Listen to the wife....

Couple years ago I had money set aside for my grail and my wife convinced me to remodel the kitchen instead.

A month ago I was trying to decide on my ultimate grail and my wife convinced me to completely remodel my backyard instead...3 weeks into a 6 month build and nothing but rain and mud.

I've learned not to tell my wife I getting a grail

Buying a watch is gratuitous.. to me. I only buy a watch when I’ve the money and all else is paid.. including insurance, taxes, etc
