How many Rolex (swisskubik) watchwinders are out here?
Still love mine and just noticed prices on ebay are going crazy !
Use to be anything between 500-900$ , now multiple K's ! crazy. Did notice after a few years it isn't as super silent anymore as it was in the beginning. |

The Masterbox winder has plastic drive gears that might be wearing. You could send it to SK for a service.

That is neat, I didn’t know about those.
Is this something an AD gave you? |

I had one of my motors replaced under warranty. It was not silent anymore and was only 2 years old. The service center that replaced the motor was is in NJ (only one I believe).
Also, the new motors are Bluetooth compatible, so an app on your phone can control it/set it (along with the USB cord). I wanted to switch my other Masterbox motors to the new motor but haven't gotten around to shipping them, hopefully in the new year. |

SwissKubik is under new ownership and we’ve been told we cannot replace motors anymore (I’m an authorised SK dealer’s) and that they now have to be sent back to Switzerland at the owners expense for any warranty repairs. It’s ridiculous frankly as there’s no special skills needed to replace the motor unit other than having a Torx screwdriver. |

I agree, there is nothing difficult to replacing than using the torx driver. I took one apart and put it back together in short order. But thank you for the information! |

According to my local AD Rolex ended “partnership” pretty quick and pulled them due to some quality issues. plastic watch holders had some clips that broke already when just looking at it... Mine already has an upgraded watch holder. (Those are full plastic however instead of plastic with padded leather) As far as I know 4 variants existed, brown jubilee and big logo and green jubilee and big logo. Quote:
