Swiss or US rivet. Reference for the Swiss bracelet is 6636 or 7206 depending on if it is springloaded or not. Ends should be 80 but 58 will also fit nicely. The US rivet is called C-I and they have unmarked ends. Quality and fit is much better on the Swiss version.

If my watch I would opt for a Swiss 7206 with the year stamp corresponding to the year of the watch.
A 6636 would be too early for your matte dial Meters First

1968 5513

Hello I have a 1968 5513, Ive been in a similar situation trying to come with a strap that I'm happy with and that will not fail, I have a incorrect 1970 oyster GMT bracelet that the watch came with however it works and is comfortable to wear, it is my intentions to obtain a newer 93150 bracelet, to the purist this will be incorrect however as my 5513 has service replacement hands and dial and old original bracelets are hard to come by I feel this is the best option and is not uncommon to have mis-matched dates . all the best "H"

Some of the collectors here have amazing all-original rare models, often with provenance and accompanying boxes and papers etc., their watches are the pinnacle of vintage Rolex. But even the strictest member wouldn't squawk over a service-parts-containing 5513 on a 93150, it's a classic compromise.

I was beating my self up until a Vintage dealer explained a few facts, so all's well in my world

Hello, I’m interested in purchasing a 1974 5513 Which i recently saw. It has a 93150 bracelet with 580 end links and it’s marked also 14 on the clasp.

Can anyone tell me if this is the original bracelet? And if not, which is the original bracelet hat came with a 1974 5513?

Thank you!
Simon
