Incoming first Panerai

Just broke the seal and purchased my first Panerai. It is the PAM00723 with the SS bracelet. Beautiful and so easy to read. I have a dark brown alligator strap and deployant buckle on order. Will post a picture soon.

Fantastic and congrats! I love the 723...smart move...my only advice would be to go with a pin buckle instead of deployant for maximum flexibility with strap selection and comfort. Other than that, home run!

The feature that convinced my to buy it was the light tan numbers with the black sandwich dial. I found the color combo irresistible

I like to buy a buckle with each strap, so I am sure some pin buckles will be in my future.

So I like the deployant buckle a lot. It looks good, and certainly will keep my strap from getting worn as quickly. It also feels better on my wrist (perhaps because I usually wear a bracelet, not a strap). The only downside is that the tiny locking screw is a bit finicky to get in, and would not want to be switching back and forth between straps very frequently. I plan on keeping it on the alligator strap.

My first PAM came with a deployment buckle and loving it. You’re right, it really looks good, easy to take PAM and off, and saves the strap.
