Hello from Malaysia!
Hello hello from the land of constant summer. Been a home grown living on Kuala Lumpur soil for 40 years now. And am looking to get my first dips into Rolex steel.
Started watch collecting in micro brands, then to better micro brands, then mainstream brands, then mid-high brands, then now Rolex. Way back, my impression of the Rolex brand was over-rated and with it are owners with snob appeal. Over the years, tastes have matured somewhat and now believe the brand is a truly respected and highly crafted, well-made and stable timepiece. Truly appreciate reading all posts of this community. Cheers |

Hello fellow Malaysian...welcome aboard. I felt the same way about Rolex during my younger days. Avoided the brand like it was a plague. But as we age and mature, tastes and outlook changes and we begin to appreciate quality, robustness and durability.

That's a first for me to read that title. Copyright, you must! To explain what's a durian, it is considered the king of fruits in most parts of Asia. Delicious, heavenly, pricey, spikey, too many variety of names, yummy taste and well loved by Asian taste buds. Appreciate the warm TRF warm welcome
