Hey everyone - take a step back before diving in. The guy found a watch, and in good faith came to a forum of experts to ask about it, but rather than give considered and considerate responses a bunch of people dive in like it’s a forum of jerks.

As a member of the forum of jerks, and several other jerk oriented social groups, I am offended by your comment.

Long enough for you to give me a hard time on several occasions. I think we are starting to become friends.

Simply playing the odds game - I am not paranoid so I do not think the majority of people are out to get me.

I believe they do, in fact, sell Rolexes in Hong Kong, and until 20 years ago HK was a British territory, and so a watch originating in HK and turning up in the UK is for me not a bad sign per se. That aside, the point I was making seems missed - I am not saying the watch is good - I have no idea, I was simply saying it would be better if some who replied in the Watchout section were more considered and respectful. I’ve seen it several times. People who do not know if their watch is good or bad are given the bad news in a mocking or accusing manner. It is not becoming.

I concure, there are many of us who are not experts and have Rolex watches. And ask serious questions. We only require serious answers , not all are scammers out to con you.
