Milgauss with a croc leather strap

Got my first Rolex few months ago. I decided to get a leather strap to see how it would look like. Ordered from a Taiwan strap maker Cheergiant, waited for few weeks and finally got the strap two days ago.

I think Milgauss + Black strap look really good! I especially like the textures of this croc strap, different from others!

Nice pics. Certainly looks different. Myself, I prefer it with the bracelet but that's just me.

I like croc on a dress watch. On a sport watch I like normal leather or the bracelet. It is a very good looking strap though. Love the GV glass as well.

One of the few modern Rolex sport watches that actually looks pretty good on leather/croc. Though those pics are very nice OP

I was choosing between croc and shell cordovan. Shell cordovan is more sporty and seems better with Rolex. However I really like the textures of this croc, perhaps try shell cordovan next time :)

Looks ok but I prefer mine on the PCL bracelet.

Is that strap available in dark green?

for a watch that is admittedly growing on my everyday, this is not the look I would go for. My opinion of the Milgauss is that the PCLs give this scientific/sportish watch an undeniably dressy look. To me putting the black gator strap on the watch some exaggerates how sporty the watch is and therefor clashes in a weird way.

I would actually prefer the GV with a dark brown, kind of thick vintage horween.

I'd like to see it with end links though, that might change my opinion. Either way, beautiful watch!

I really like that.

It would like better though with some end links.

End links from Smartyjones18 will complete the look. It does look good though.

looks great. Having 2 different leather straps made for my 14060 Sub--one from a vintage baseball glove.

Love it! Great look. The endlinks would look good, but you could go either way on that beauty.

I love the way mine looks and feels on an orange trimmed sailcloth.

Definitely works, black straps pop a black dial nicely and with a polished bezel it all works well as a dressier option. I did the same thing regularly on black dial Breitlings and Omegas I've had. As for endlinks, well they make it more Rolexy, whereas without makes it more Pateky

Looks really good.
Please do not add end links and leave if as is. Personally when i see end links with a leather (or any other material) strap, it looks very fragmented/disjointed.

Second that. Looks very good

May look even better with a more plain, robust leather with no design as well.
