Next purchase confusion

SoI go into my AD. I'm feeling the itch and am looking for something a bit more apropos for business attire,. I've got a Pepsi GMT bluesy sub, EXP2 polar and an SD4k plus a lot of other non Rolex...all sport watches. Looking for something a bit more dressy.

So I'm thinking of the OP 39, blue or grape. Felt totally nonplussed by them in the flesh. Nice, but nothing special.

Then looked at the DJ2, silver stick, fluted. Really lovely piece. Loved it.

Explorer I could be an option. I went with the 36 mm but 39 mm is great, too.

Do it! Exactly what I did and for the same reason (business attire). You won't be disappointed.

For the same reason, I got a smooth DJ2. If money were no object, DD40.

DJ2 is a great option. If you want it to stand out go fluted bezel, if you want a little lower key, go smooth.

Too funny. Got tied up and thought I hit cancel, instead posted an incomplete thought!

The short version of the rest is that I after the DJ2 I put on a blue yacht master. Liked that it was thinner and mostly for business I wear blues.

So, the choice I'm hemming and hawing over are those two. I'd probably get more wear out of the yachtmaster in that it goes casual as well. The DJ2 is a stunner, but wear would be much more limited.

Thanks all and apologies for the half post earlier....

I don't see any need for the YM for you. The DJ2 is exactly what you need given your current collection.

It's dead easy.

You walk into a shop, tell the salesperson what you want, they show you the stuff and explain it all to you. You then buy the one you like the best.

It's your watch, not ours, so go for what takes your fancy.

Since you have all sport watches at the moment, go with the DJ2. Entirely different.

DJII is not more limited. Speaking from experience. I wear one everyday (until I get my BLNR). I wear business causal most days, sometimes a suit. Weekends I'm in casual clothes and still wearing it. Perfect for any outfit.

DJII is a great add to your collection. I recently added one and am amazed how much I like it.

This is what I keep coming back to. I was also amazed at how much I loved it. Really surprised. I wasn't expecting it.

Also great to hear you guys are wearing it a bit more casually as well.

Spoke to them today...should have a fluted blue Roman in shortly...it'll be that or the silver stick dial....

I saw a blue dial YM in the wild not too long ago and thought that it looked great. I would go for it over the DJII.
