Icon14 Sub date or non date movement

Hi everyone,
I,m a new member on here and looking for a few a bit of info off you guys. I,m going to be buying my first Rolex soon and I,m thinking of a classic black sub. I like both the date and non date but leaning more to the non. Is the date movement any better than the non date. Thanks in advance for any input. Loving the forum by the way

Go with whichever you like better. If you have no need for the date and prefer the look of the non-date, go for it. I did, and I don't regret it at all.

They are the same basic movement; one is not "better" than the other.

Any pics of both on the wrist would be appreciated as I've only seen them in the AD

I have the non date because I have a lot of watches and I don't like to set the date every time

I had a date and traded it in for a non date. It's much cleaner and easier to use in rotation.

Love it to bits

I like date because ppl at work always ask what the date is for charting and it makes me sad if my 10,000$ watch can't answer that question ROFL.
