The younger generation...

My wife wears a gen 2 Apple Watch and every night before bed, my two-and-a-half year old daughter wants to do the "breathing app" on the Apple Watch before going to sleep.

Of course, this only works when it's my wife putting her to bed...

Anytime I put my daughter to bed, she taps on my Rolex/Cartier/Omega crystal to try to change the screen. Tonight at bedtime she said "daddy, I think your watch is broken."

Oh brother...

Perhaps you should sit her down and teach her about different movements and Rolex models. :-)

Your daughters comment brought a big smile to my face....thankyou

My 13 year old has an Apple Watch 2... and cannot understand why I have my name down for a mechanical watch that "only tells the time"...

Very cute story, and it speaks volumes about the younger generations' expectations. I'm trying very hard not to slip into "crotchety old man mode" with anecdotes that start, "Ya know, in MY day..." :)

Love this story!

I have the same GMT as well. Purchased a couple of months before the birth of my Son. I hope by the time he is ready to wear it / care for it that he appreciates an "old school" time piece!
