Lady datejust Pre-owned Price...

Hi Everybody,

I'm from the Philippines... I would like to ask how much is the current price for a pre-owned 79173 2003 lady date just watch.

What is the difference between 79173 and 69173?

Welcome to TRF. Glad you joined us.

Sorry I can't help you. You might try looking on e-Bay to get some relative prices. Also check out some of the grey market dealers, such as:

Hi and welcome to TRF!!

69173 is the much older model with 29 jewels which was then modified to the newer one, i.e. 79173 with 31 jewels. This new model uses the excellent 2235 movement, same as in the 29 mm Lady YM.

so the movement is far more better than the previous model. actually we already bought the datejust for $3,200.00 (estimate value since we paid in phil. peso - PHP51 to $1.00). I had it authenticated from Rolex Center Phils. before we bought it.

Well I will give you a price in US dollars the buying in price for a mint example with box papers is around $2400 max The retail selling price for same $2700 -$2900 on a very very good day perhaps $3000.Movement wise what JJ said but in reality very very little difference between two models

hmm.. i guess the prices here in Manila are really high. Before we bought the watch, we scouted around for pre-owned rolex and mostly for $2,500, we can only get a SS lady datejust and mostly they are 69173 series. The price for an all silver lady date costs that much also. The brand new price for a two towned watch 179713 is PHP272,000.00 (approximately $5333.00)

Check out this site for price comparisons, my friend. These will give you a fair idea. http://www.alanfurman.com/noframes/rolex1.html#sub

Welcome fellow Filipino man (kababayan). I lived in Philippines for 15 years before immigrating to Canada.

I thought prices for Rolex in Manila were slightly cheaper, but I guess times have changed.

Rolex prices in Manila

i'm not sure if here Manila is more expensive in buying a Rolex... But if you will compare it in other site, YES...its a bit expensive... For example, I just bought a brand new GMT-II from Washington (authorized rolex dealer) for $4352.00 a couple of weeks ago...
