Stardust
Looking for some advice, if I may?
Are the so-called 'Stardust' faces more desireable than non-degraded faces when lookng at vontage time-pieces? They do look nice!! |

Generally perfect dials will be more valuable with the rare exception of a 'true' tropical brown which is not due to moisture ingress. Many of these so called tropical dials will continue to degrade so I would not pay extra for them. Spider webbing, crackling, lost laquer is all damage.

Yes exactly a perfect dial will always be more valuable than one with damage, it's just that sometimes those damaged dials look so good and can be very interesting.
