Next Watch for Milestone
I am looking for some advice. I am looking at purchasing another Rolex to commentate on a milestone. I currently have a 124060 given to me as a gift to celebrate graduating from university.
I am looking to get myself another Rolex to celebrate finishing my graduate studies in engineering. I figured the Milgauss Z-Blue would be a fantastic choice. I have always loved this watch since I was a child. The green bezel and lighting bolt hand are stunning. However, I do feel the watch is a little thick, and the polish centre links can scratch really easily. Overall, I love the look. But I should mention, I love Submariners. I was thinking of only collecting Submariners. I dream of the day of having my ND, an LV and a white gold Sub. I thought perhaps it would be a good idea to get a 126610LV instead of the Milgauss. It would have a lot of sentimental value as my graduate advisors are connected to Gauss (i.e., my advisors, advisors, advisors ..., advisor is Gauss). What does the forum think? |

Could we delete this thread? I put it here by accident. I moved it to the Rolex General Discussion. My apologizes. I don't know how to delete.

Since getting into PP and AP, I have almost 0 interest in Rolex. Just use them as my daily/beater.

I’d love to buy a 5226G but that’s for later.

That Calatrava would be a nice choice.
As for you Rolex question, I owned a Rolex Milgauss and is was a nice watch. I currently have the 50th Anniversary which was my first Rolex I still love it and don't think will ever sell it. I would buy a green sub over the Milqauss. Both are nice watches you cant go wrong either way. And congratulations on your graduation! |
