Tropic 19

Looking for a Tropic 19 dome Saphirre Crystal to replace my cracked service crystal on my 5512.

Can anyone lead me in the right direction?

Excellent site! Having owned a Sub since 1970, I thought I had reasonable knowledge of my watch, oh how I was wrong!

It would be great to add a rough pricing guide for all the different variations, kind of like the speedmaster 101 site...

Rolex airking 5500 dial replacement

Distinguished Rolex fans,

Does anyone know a reputable Rolex dial replacement reseller for the Rolex Airking? I bought one for my mother' s birthday, however, she didn't like the dial color:-(

Thank you for your assistance folks!

Help!

HI,

I think I have a mark 1 pre comex 5513 but the only thing that doesn't add up is the = sign is central and not to the left of the A on Submariner?

The Cornet is certainly stubby and the Submariner is below the depth info.

Thanks

I just joined the forum. I can't tell you how invaluable this is for people who are just starting out. Is there a similar site for 1680, 1675 and 1016?

Advice please

Hi All,

My friend has recently been given his father's old Rolex. He asked for some info on what he had and what parts my need fixing.

I have some Imgur links but don't have the post count to share. Can someone help me with that?

VrFn2a1

From the info, my friend gave me the watch is a 5513 and the serial starts 178 and is 7 digits long.

I went onto this site and to my untrained eye, it seems to indicate this watch has the original dial and insert from when it was purchased. Could anyone help me confirm that?

I know the strap is a horrendous addition and not original. Would you also have any advice I could pass on about caring for the watch and any work that should be done?

Apologies for the terrible photos but that is all he has shared.
