Surely looking at the new releases last year and this year blue seems to be a bandwagon (plus all the DJ blues). Wha will say is that the sunburst blues (on other brands like Rolex and Panerai) have a very visual effect. For AP specifically, I think the blue subdials combinations like on the 26331IP or the 26315ST Boutique version are all really quite stunning band wagon or not.

Side by side, I think specific to 15500, it's just the most depth, no flat angles so to say, whereas as great as the silver or gray is, some angels feel flat. Of course one degree later it goes away.

I like silver dial. Look special for me even yes I know blue it’s for AP special.

Love the white/silver dial. It really brings the patisserie to life. Sadly it’s too big for my wrist or I’d be hunting one with the silver dial.

I’ve noticed in most photos the grey dial appears pretty flat/dull. Every now and then I see a picture where it looks much more vibrant. The silver seams more alive most of the time.

As an aside, the AP website refers to the dial color on the 155000 as “slate grey”, but in the description of the 15450 and 26315 it is called “ruthenium”. Are these the same?

I love the blue on the 15202. I love the blue on the 15300. I am okay with the blue on 15400. I don't like the blue on 15500. For 15500, the dial that gets my attention is the Rhodium (grey).

Is the blue on the 15400 and 15500 different?

What’s wrong with this dial?

I love the silver dial, especially on the 15500 - but this blue, to me, is another league. Enjoy
