Fluted Bezel older datejust metal ?

Hello all. This is my first post so be gentle on me. Looking at older datejusts the fluted bezel has milled lines in it as opposed to the newer ones that do't . The newer models the metal are White Gold.

Are these older models Still White gold or just steel please and what year did they change to white gold?

Sounds like it might be an 'engine turned' and not a fluted bezel you are looking at. In which case it's steel.

Yes. That make sense. So, are ALL the fluted white gold and not Steel?
