26401 Gold - Purchase Question

Hi all,

Looking to add a 2nd AP to the 'collection'. This will be the black dial.

Here are two options, what seems to be the better buy?

Option 1 -
BNIB
Origin: unknown
Complete set
Price: $39,500 shipped

Option 2 -
Preowned
Origin: Mumbai
Complete set
Warranty expires 9/2020
Price: $37,500

Appreciate your feedback!

are you comfortable with the sellers? Always buy seller first and rather pay it a bit more. You are in San Diego and seller is in Mumbai?

New is a lot better if the difference is so little like that.

You also should ask BNIB that what is the date on the warranty card? It might be BNIB but it can be dated back 2-3 years also.

For me at that price range i'd rather just cough up for MSRP and get it from a boutique knowing it's 100% authentic. I view the MSRP price like a 5k premium insurance for authenticity.

If purely between the two, then option A.

This is a luxurious piece so go new as long as the seller is 100%.

I would buy this from an AD. I think 45k from AD is possible as this one is not hard to find.
