the 15450 price increase is just ridiculous if true! the only justification to this price increase is updated movement and cosmetic changes IMO. Does that mean we will see 15550 next year?

I was going to buy a 15450 for my wife ~2 years ago and they were available 10k shipped from ADs lol

My ad told me he send it to me and if she doesn't like it he'd take it back they were so hard to move.

Yikes....I was thinking about getting a 15450 in 2020 but I guess I may have to rethink my option set at this price.

It's a conspiracy theory. They're trying to price all of us new comers out of the market.

Until the market collapses. Then it goes back to what another member mentioned a few posts above...can’t even move them at 10k

With the exception of the 15450 the 8% increase on steel ROs sounds consistent with the price list I saw. The 15450 was definitely an outlier.

As someone based in Singapore looking to buy their first AP in 2020 this is not great news.

Might have pick one up on a future trip back to the UK and reclaim the VAT at the airport on the way out of the country

But now that AP boutiques are no longer third party ADs but AP’s owned and operated stores, I’m not sure how open to discounting they will be.

The price increases on the 41mm and 38mm ROCs are also double digit increases...

It’s funny to see how for the same last known retail price of the 15400, you can now only get the smaller 15450...

On the other side, the fabrication cost of the 15400 must be higher of a few euro...
The margin ratio on 15450 must be now more balanced vs other models.

Nuts! My question is it worth it now? A PM is in firing distance now at that price point. Especially if grey prices above msrp

Yay, so AP now sells the 15450ST for 19k€ to flippers/greys and they are probably available for the real buyer for 25-30k€ if you don't want to bundle with fugly codes 11.59.

The price increase is huge for no justification whatsoever, no updates on look no new movement?

The 38m Chrono price increase is unjustifiable they just released it few months ago!!

Definitely bro they are taking full advantage of current market. The question is what will they do when the demand soften in economic downturn, will AP reduce prices in order to sell?

I would think so. I’m very interested to see how the grey market reacts. Are they going to raise the prices by an equivalent percentage?

No - they wouldn't decrease MSRP... They would just start discounting more

AP will not discount. They will reduce msrp. They have done it in the recent past on gold pieces and will do it again.

I picked up my 15450 with a discount in 2018 in Vegas.

And AD will discount. AP will at most do a modest 5% discount at a boutique for a repeat customer.

There are no AP owned outlets in Vegas.

But again, AP has no issue adjusting MSRP. They did it with gold pieces, they did it with the 44 ROO ceramic when they switched models, etc.
