I really like them, the rectangular tonneau cases with breguet numerals are stunning.
They are evry pricey and should only be bought if you love them and dont intend to sell, as they dont have a good second hand value. Plus please note they do not use In House movements. The have ETA i think. Cheers |

My friend had Casablanca for some time. That was a good watch, but without anything to justify it`s price. And yes,it was powered by ETA-based movement.
But,Franck Muller(both person and his company) is known for his movements! Most of the times they`re modified ETA`s,but so much modified that they`re considered as in-house movements. And(though I`m not 100% sure about it) I think that Grand Complications are completely built by Franck Muller. Anyway,I think that only FM`s that are worth their pricing are the most expensive ones, because they`re really masterpieces of modern horology...

If you want really informed opinions about Frank Muller, try TZ because some of them have extensive knowledge and experience with the brand.
I will simply summarize the general opinion about FM is that the watches are extremely overpriced for what you get, especially in the movement area. Watches in that price range are from truly high-end manufacturers.

Be careful, the watches are by no means inexpensive and several years ago they were caught putting real cheap Russian or Japanese movements and still charging the high prices. Most are ETA movements, decent movement but not worth the price Muller get for his watches. May be a few
"in-house" movements by now though. |

The grand complications are in-house movements, but some much talked about models such as Crazy Hours or Secret Hours are modified ETA ebauches. They are well hyped and have caused some concern as others have said with el-cheapo movements stuffed inside.
Personally, I think they have a bit of a an integrity crisis and I wouldn't own one. |
