If it's a G serial, I'd keep it. Otherwise trade it.

I would flip it.
I hate the look of bulky watches. Also, an elegant rolex > PAM any day. Personal opinion. |

Get rid of that panerai! Never been a fan of them. Me personally I would look into a gmt II ;)

Funny. I was on the market for a 111 and just picked one up. I like having at least one Pam in the stable. I say keep it and save for the sub. I decided to replace the previous 111 I had flipped.

I traded a Pam 005 for a Sub. More practical and I wear it more than the Panerai. I have a small wrist and watches over 42mm are not for me.
I recommend the Sub or BLNR as a replacement. But it's your call! |

Send it in its way. I personally only like to hold pieces I wear regularly.

I got into the Panerai craze from 2006 to about 2012. I'm back to Rolex for daily watch wearing! Can't put a Panerai on my wrist anymore... Leather and croc straps just feel so flimsy!!

I am in a similar position .
Bought my first Rolex approx 6 weeks ago and cannot believe how I have been bitten by the Rolex bug . I have a mint Pam 270 that was my dream watch , but it isn't now as the Rolex have taken over . Need to sell the 270 really as not wearing it . In the 6 weeks I have now bought the DSSD , Hulk ,Blnr and a Sub . Have now put a deposit on the Blue Deepsea !!! So the DSSD will be going . If my Wife finds out I am in serious trouble !!! So to the OP I would get rid of the PAM as I am . Lee |

I did the Panerai thing. Twice. Just couldn't bond with it. I know many will disagree but I still see them as trendy and not as classic and traditional as Rolex.

I'd say sell off the PAM and buy whatever you like. If ur the type to flip watches often then its better to get brands that are easier to sell i.e Rolex, AP...etc. If you don't care too much about resale value then just go with what makes you happy =)

Doesn't matter the brand, if the love is gone, flip flip flip.

Used to have several Pams; sold all for vintage Rolex and never looked back.
I also vote to sell the 111 and try on a pre-owned GMT, Sub or SD. |

I'm probably in a similar situation where due to financial constraints I can only have 2/3 watches at a time. Generally if I want a piece then something has to go from the current collection to finance it.
I've had and sold a PAM177 that went towards a Rolex as it wasn't being worn. Do I miss it - slightly I suppose, but I like what I have now much more If you sell your PAM it will increase your options greatly. |
