Shout out thank you to oldman2005!

Oldman2005 brightened the holidays for me. Last week he offered up his extra Rolex Daytona magazine to the first comer.

It arrived today and is super cool.

I'll get my other Daytona out tomorrow and read it cover to cover.

Thanks again!!!

Oh, I have to amend my question. It must be a new magazine due to the Daytona models shown on the second picture.
Hmm....

It's more of a book than a magazine.

61 pages....

It was printed 10/2016.

They did these for other models too. Submariner, Datejust, yachtmaster, etc.

Thank you. Was this something special only for AD or was it for sale?
When it was printed back in 2016 I assume that it is only available on the second hand market?
I am so annoying because I want it too

It's more like a booklet about the history of the Daytona, published by Rolex on 10/2016, so it covers the latest stainless steel Daytona ceramic. It's different the Rolex Magazine Issue #1 which covered the Daytona but this did not have the the latest stainless steel Daytona ceramic

I got a few of them from the ADs. Let me see if I can get a few more as I know the AD had a bunch of them back then.

It's a Rolex published booklet so you maybe able to get it from your AD for free.

I was invited by my AD for a private event that Rolex hosted. The party was a Daytona event and i received my booklet at the end of the party. I think it’s a limited edition piece and I saw someone list it on eBay for $75 if you really want one.

Part number for the booklet is:

Thanks for all your answers. I really appreciate it.
A gentle member of TRF gave me yesterday also a hint about the ebay auction but unfortunately I am not a member of the ebay community.
It is not offered in Germany or Europe at all and Iīve never seen this here before either.
Thatīs why I am so surprised and excited......and somewhat sad.

I asked my local AD and they said that they donīt know it and it must have been something for the US market.
Even the part number is not helpful because they canīt order this item
Thatīs bad luck......I definitely live in the wrong country, I always knew it

But I am still delighted for the lucky owners

Wow, I never heard of this! And to think how long it took me to track down a Magazine Issue #1...

I am also looking for this Book. I went to a few ADs and Boutiques and they do not know anything about this publication.

$75 is a lot to pay for it I think ... hopefully, I'll be able to get it for less or free from a member on the site (i'd pay for shipping)

These are the 2 Rolex published materials on the Daytona: One is a magazine and the other one is a booklet.

Warning: These are like porn...you'd lust after a Daytona after reading them

FWIW, I haven’t checked, but think I was able to d/l the recent one from the Rolex website. Not the same has having it in print, but better than nothing.

I'd love one of these if anyone has an extra

I went crazy looking for a Rolex Magazine #1 last year ... finally caved and won an ebay auction.
