2013 Omega Seamater PO

Hello, I'm thinking about picking up a 2013 Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 38mm. I am getting it from a very reputable seller that I have purchased from in the past. It appears to be in excellent condition, however is their anything I should be concerned about on a watch that is 5 years old. Will this watch need a servicing in the near future? Thanks in advance for any assistance that can be offered.

There are different schools of thought on the servicing. Some like an interval approach (that would be me). Others say don't touch unless it stops/malfunctions. I like my watches serviced every 5-7 years. I'm a stickler for keeping the parts lubricated properly and making sure I replace as little a possible to keep originality...I think a more interval approach works better in this respect.

Read up on the coaxial movement in it and it’s service interval.

Here's the page on Omega's site where they recommend steps to care for your watch, including a recommendation for complete service at the interval of 4 to 5 years.

I like to wait until I start noticing issues.
