I chance upon this locally.
It is definitely a mark 2 dial. Case is crisp. What is bothering me is the patina and hands patina a slight lighter. Hands can be replaced with matching ones that I not worried.. Question is why are the patina on the dials seems a little blackish with light spots of black speckers that are spread evenly throughout the plots? Is this normal? Or moisture sets in before which damaged the dial? |

Hands and dials do not always age/patina at the same rate although I would guess that these hands were replaced.
I believe that the mottling on the lume may be because of some moisture at some point in time. The plots can be stabilized if any of it is degrading and not simply discoloration.

Tritium on dial looks like its ready to flake off. Definitely needs stabilization if you purchase it. The insert is a service insert. Crystal looks original. Case is thick and sharp but has seen at least one polish. If the price is right could be a nice watch...
