Hope that OP made the right choice back in mid 2017
Nevertheless, this might be an opportunity to hear the outcome |

Day date is classic but, the skydweller has some really cool complications.

Both! Stainless steel Sky Dweller for everyday wear because the oyster bracelet is more robust and rose or yellow gold Day Date for formal/dressy occasions because the president bracelet is not as robust.

DD. The Sky Dweller just doesn’t do it for me. The DD is quintessential Rolex.

The DD is a DJ in gold or platinum. The day advances with the date, nothing special. The SkyD has an annual calendar and dual time zones. It's priced $10K more. If you want PM and don't need dual time zones, save money and get a DD. However, if you desire the dual time zone and annual calendar, the SkyD is it. I know people who own two - one SS, one PM. If you don't really care about PM, save your money and get a DJ.

I think this is going to be an age thing...
People under 40 will pick skydweller People over 40 will go daydate Saying this based on observations of size comments always coming from older members.... Definitely not a bad thing at all, just think younger generation grew up with 40mm+ being standard sizes while older generations grew up with 36mm being a standard men's watch Really don't mean for this to come off as "age-ist"... Just an observation from someone in their mid 30s who has been on WIS forums for 15 years... Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
