Opinions Zenith Daytona 16520

Hi guys just wanted an opinion on the zenith daytona 16520. I'm looking at purchasing this one for around $12.5k USD. Can the experts on this model chime in please. Shouldn't the lugs be brushed on this model? It's a U serial.

Look forward to your opinions.

Thanks

Only the bezel and center links are polished. The rest should have a brushed finish.

The lugs should be brushed, and the lugs do look a bit over polished. Most likely why its $12.5K.

There are so many variable options when considering the Rolex Zenith Daytona, What is it your looking for? How much do you want to spend? Do you want no polish or some polish. sky is the limit here. When you do find it, they make for a great watch, whatever it is you choose.

Assuming everything else checks out, the issue with the lugs is relatively minor. They could be properly brushed again (LAWW, for example), and if you took it to a RSC for service, the lugs WOULD be re-brushed, because Rolex would take it back to factory specs.

Does the watch come with the original warranty paper? I see some accessories in the photo, but not the important one, which is the original stamped Rolex guarantee paper.

Just keep in mind that the price on this one reflected the over polished case and lugs. If you find a mint example expect to pay much more in today's market. As stated above, any RSC or qualified independent like LAWW could easily return the case finish to factory specs with no problems.
