Best Relume?
I have a Snowflake with a relumed dial and mismatched hands which I want to use as my daily work watch. The relume is not bad but not great, the dial itself is otherwise perfect so I'm thinking a top notch relume with color matched hands could be an option.
Anyone have experience of a great relumer?? |

A shout out for Michael Young ....
Hi David,
We all know Michael Young for his bracelet restoration work but his website also profiles a few 'before and after' pics of his dial work. I met Michael last year when I was in his wonderful city - nice fella, clever and certainly passionate about his work. I've been very happy with the bracelet restoration work he's done for for me over the years but I haven't let him loose on a dial yet. I'd certainly have confidence in the man and his processes though. I can't seem to copy a link but go to his main page and hit the 'Dial Restoration' button. http://www.classicwatchrepair.com Paul |
