Local Vintage Rolex - Having hard time finding one like it
I came across a Vintage Rolex Oyster for sale, I cannot find one like it to determine if it is a good deal for at the asking price. Only picture is this one. I don't have a serial number at this time, any information is helpful, what year it is? what it is worth in good working condition?

Not all vintage Rolex is interesting and valuable, and I'd never buy a watch unless I wanted to wear it. This particular one would probably be too small for normal wear and who knows if it's genuine from that picture? I wouldn't take a chance even for low hundreds of dollars.

Looks similar to a Speed King. Probably 30mm size.
Relative to other Rolexes, not very valuable. Would expect similar value for that watch. Cannot tell if dial is redone or condition of thathe watch from your photo. Last edited by MILGAUSS88; 5 July 2017 at 11:19 PM.. Reason: .... |

It reminds me of the canadian military Rolex from the 40's like the "oyster royal" line. Probably something similar but I would say a bit later and from the 50's. Not very valuable - around $1000

Looks like a Rolex ref. 4444 with a poorly refinished dial.
Definitely a sub-$1,000 watch. MW |
