Thoughts on this 1675?

I’ve been wanting a non safe queen daily 1675 for a while and was thinking this might fit the bill. I see the edges are soft and the GMT hand is relumed or a service hand. Anything else jump out?

Serial is 2.5 mil.

Seller is asking $12k, which is higher than I’m willing to go. Anyone think that’s reasonable?

12k Canadian? If so, very reasonable IMO.

The insert is not correct for a Mark I era GMT 1675. It needs to be a "Pepsi" and not black.

Personally I think 12k usd is very reasonable for what this appears to be. With a small gmt hand, it would look fantastic. And I would get a nice Pepsi insert also.

As observed you'll need a fat font insert to bring correct (at least pepsi) also it seems the bracelet is a replacement as well (is it folded?). But if a correct, nice example is ~$15k these days, you can probably get there from here. You could probably find one further along on the sales forum here.

Whats up with the crown? Does it screw down?

Well now that you throw that price out there..
Would be nice for it to be less.
Looking at the caseback and gunk around the edge, including the unidentified looking hair on the left side LOL, you would think that it may be time for a service.
On the plus side, I see 280 end links... very nice. A 7836 (appears) bracelet but can't tell the condition..
Your two pictures are not the best to comment much other than what other expenses could be on the horizon..

Thanks to all for your comments. I don’t know the service history or even if it’s ticking. Seller isn’t very forthcoming so I’m going to pass. If it were a better price, I might’ve taken a chance.
