ROLEX GMT 6542 no Registered Design or Orig Rolex Design

Hi, I need your expert information. My GMT 1957 has no Registered Design or Orig Rolex Design singed between lugs. There is a serial number on the other side of lugs 262xxx which will match on 1957. On my research, there was a term when ROLEX did not have Registered Design / Orig Rolex Design signs from 1980-1982 / ref# 6.2 million to 7.0 million but it does not apply on my gmat..

Does anyone know or have seen the case without these signs from 50/60/70's ROLEX watches.. ?

Hi Vruce,
I was doing research on this issue too. no answer from the web but I compared a lot of pictures of 6542s being sold by reputable sellers and found out that some of those from 56-57 only has the model number engraved and the serial on the other other end.
