I definitely knew what you meant, I don't think any of us go out looking to rough up our watches. Like you, I take very good care of my watch, and everything else I own. Things happen, you can't sweat the small things in life. I've always said things could be a h@ll of a lot worse......

I think the OP's tune will change when he scratches his ceramic bezel. If you are posting about scratches deep down you loathe them. They make your stomache cringe. The fact is your tool watch is 8k and until you throw it in a blender with a tasty Rita I don't believe you for a second. Don't worry though I try to convince myself every time I put my TT sub on that I'm just like you.

Sounds disingenuous when one says they do not care about the first scratches on a Rolex. With time, though, one cares less about them. It is amazing to see so many blogs about scratches. OCD must be fairly prevalent among members.
