Update: Would you buy a Rolex just because it's a good deal?
Well, I did and I just got it back from the servicer. The A series 16610 looks pretty good sitting next to my GMTc.
And here is a pic of my humble herd. I do have a question though. When I bought it is had a few scuffs on the bracelet and case nothing major but some. When I took in into the servicer the watch had the green sticker on the back. Albeit warn and illegible. When I got the watch back the sticker was no longer there. Is this normal? Or should I ask him about it? Either way I'm happy with the purchase and happy to be sporting my new to me Sub. |

I would ask if he still has it and ask for it back. I like to keep everything the watch originally came with.

It's only a sticker its meant to be peeled off and thrown away, some keep it, no harm in asking if he still has it if you want it.

Those old green stickers were really weird. Not even a sticker, it was like some waxy compound IIRC.

The sticker was a sticker...nothing weird about it.
No worry about it being gone - new Rolexes don't even have them anymore.
