Do you have a problem with commitment?
This is inspired by a previous thread...
Do you have a flipping problem? Simple math. How many watches currently in your collection vs how many have you owned in the last (lets say) 5 years? For fun, completely optional, if you feel geeky and you want to have fun with a formula lets say (C/O)*100. Watches owned the entire 5 years may be excluded? Your call. I'm at 3/12, all three owned less than 6 months. I'm sure that is very low in comparison to some of you guys. |

The math is optional. Makes you think though right? I remembered a few that I had forgotten all about (probably why they flipped).

Way too analytical - love 'em and leave 'em. A few are keepers and you go through dozens to find them...

It's the "going through dozens" part that gets you. Most people I know have their watch and wear it til it breaks then fix or replace as necessary. I've never been that guy. Since 8th grade I can't remember having only one.

All depends how I feel. I used to have many, now I just have a few that I really like.

I learned that the ones I flipped were impulse buys or kind of in-between watches. For instance I went through a faze when I wanted an iwc Portuguese, got tired of saving up,& wound up buying a tag Carrera heritage instead...flipped that watch and put of that faze. Only expensive watches that stood the test of time for me has been rolex

I am, divorced, no dog, no kids and too many watches have been flipped.
In fact I just flipped my 116300 today.
