Vintage 5513 submariner

Hi, I am after some help. I have a Submariner with a serial number of 1.3million so I think about 1966 with a calibre 1520 movement. Everything looks original, The dial I think has the the 'Bart Simpson' crest but my issue is it has ft first. I hope to have attached a picture (first time on forum!) My knowledge is limited so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Tim.

If the case is really 1.3x, the dial is 10 years later the case and the insert 20 years later.

Ok Thanks the number between the lugs says 1.3x but is very faint and I'm a bit suspicious that it has been over etched.

Hi there, any chance of photos of the over etching, the reason I ask is some of the serial numbers can be sloppy, I flagged up what I though was a ringer... turned out to be correct.. not what I would have expected from Rolex but theres a lot more knowledgeable people on here that can help, all the best "H"

Thanks. The numbers are very faint mainly from wear from the bracelet end pieces. Unfortunately my camera will not pick them up well enough. It’s annoying as I have the opportunity to buy but it seems it maybe a bit to risky.

Without a good macro of serial no. and reference, it's impossible to say what to do. But, even if they were ok, you have to find a gilt dial... and a long 5 insert. The second one is easy to find (but expensive), the first one is incredible hard to find and very very expensive.

Take care.

The dial seems to be legit maybe a maxi but hard to tell.....you could fetch some bucks for that dial and put it towards a gilt but as said before it's pricey and hard to find ....good luck ....don't be discouraged about the serial most 40 year old watches come with heavy wear at the end link part and if the price is right might be worth picking up in my opinion.

Uglyish ft first dial so if 1.3 is correct not the original dial.

Non serif (bubbling, water?) dial. As already told, much later the 1.3x case.
