Bye Bye Rolex, Hello Panerai.. My first PAM
Hello to you all,
After being a loyal Rolex costumer for exactly 30 years (I bought my first Rolex, a TT SUB NR, in the summer of 1988), I decided to take my business elswhere. The reason for my decision will be the subject of another thread. Luckily, I had the chance to discover Panerai, I mean not only the watches, but all the history behind it, and I was immediately under the spell.. So, without further ado, I present you my first PAM, the first one of new collection I am starting. |

Thank you all for your warm welcome.. the nice thing about venturing into the Panerai world is that you get to meet true enthusiasts.. people that are passionate about fine timepieces, for what they are, not for what they represent. I am glad that I joined this forum and this community..

congrats...what a way to start in Panerai...
there are many of us here where Rolex and Panerai co-exist...nothing wrong with having two feet on each pond... enjoy Panerai and the paneristis...big part of the allure

Very nice piece. I was looking at the pictures on the screen and couldn't tell if it was yellow or white metal. Beautiful watch!

Thank you.. you are absolutly right, they crossed path in the past.. my only problem with Rolex is the way they conduct business.. I always loved their watches, I'll keep the ones that I have, but from now on, I'll spend my time and my efforts on PAMs.. it is more rewarding and meets my expectations..
