Congrats OP!

The case looks nice but the dial and hands are brand new and not original to the watch.
Fortunately, it doesnt really matter on a 6694 since it is very easy to revert back to its original self.
Original dials and hands are very plentiful.

In the end though, if you like it and paid accordingly; then wear it and enjoy it.

I second that, was about to say pretty much the same.

Got it thanks for the opinions. I paid around $1200 dollars for this piece so i thought it was a good price. A question around the dial and bezel though, are they aftermarket parts or still genuine Rolex parts? I'm ok with it as long as they're still Rolex parts even if it's not the original bezel and dial.

This is my mine. Pictured with a crappy Apple 5s. I bought it because it was my birth year 1973. Fantastic patina. Mint original 7835 19 bracelet with 357 end links. I had serviced with new mainspring and genuine crown tube and crown replacements. Lugs a little polished but I was cool with it. A man running for his life won't notice. Great little watch to wind each morning. You really connect with it taking a couple moments to get her going as you're getting going. Fantastic Sherman tank movement with a hearty beat. Cool to listen to. I thoroughly enjoy it and it goes great with whatever you're wearing. I have a little wrist so it wears well. It's like the little freckled red head stepchild that gets some love.

Like others said, the dial and hands don't go. To be candid, there are so many fantastic examples in original condition. If you wait, you'll find a good one for a good price. You may consider returning it. But it's obviously up to you. I paid $1,300 for mine. I thought that was fair particularly because I wanted that year. A little bummed about the crown which raised the refurb a bit, but was worth it given the workout it'll be getting over the next couple decades

next time invest a little more and go for original.

On the other hand, I learned so much form these kind of 'mistakes'
