1520 1570 interchangeable escape wheel?

Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me if the 1520 and 1570 movements have interchangeable escape wheels? I see that sellers are selling 1520 escape wheels and advertising them as interchangeable with 1570, but I wonder how that is considering the balance assembly is completely different?

Thank you!

Ok if anyone is interested in an answer, I looked through the parts list for 1570 movements and it appears the escape wheel is compatible with 1530, not 1520.

And I was wrong! Part number for an escape wheel for a 1530 (26 jewel version) is 7841, and for 1570 it is 8051.
Online sellers are advertising the 1520 (26 jewel version) as compatible because it is the same part number (8051) I guess.
I still don't see how it could be so. Even if it would work I would think it would run inaccurate in different positions. If anyone has tried it or knows and can chime in, it would be much appreciated.

What about a barrel complete? Seems a 1530-310 works with all 15XX movements? And watchmakers prefer to use the stronger 8069 mainspring inside for a 1570 I’m learning....
