Daytona 116520 or GMT 126711

Happy Holidays y'all!

Considering both watches. Market for 126711 has steadily creeped up and getting close to cost of 116520. I am thinking better value in Daytona as it is discontinued. Market for 126711 may drop after the holidays plus I am holding onto the hope that I might be able to score at retail.

Which would you consider a better value/better investment? I am not entirely buying with the intent to potential make money on the upside, I just don't want to get hosed if I choose to sell within the next few years. Thanks.

Nobody can predict an economic apocalypse. Either way, if either watch was to become soft, over an extended period it would inevitably correct back to where you acquired at.

116520 is possibly the best watch of all time.

As much as prefer the 126711 over the 116520, the better value/investment option is the 116520 - although both will likely continue to appreciate over time.

Yeah, that.

I don't like them but probably a better investment
