JomaShop Purchase

Hello,

Has anyone ever purchased a Rolex or Panerai at JomaShop.com?

What is your experience?
Should I stay away?

Thanks

I bought an inexpensive wacth from them a few years ago for about $2k and returned it without any difficulty within the return period.

That's my only experience.

No experience with them HOWEVER if you question it, why take the risk... Why not contact one of the trusted sellers here on TRF and take the worry out of the transaction

I have friends who have purchased non-rolex with no issues. I checked their prices before buying my Ceramic Sub. I was able to get a better price from a local AD than from Jomashop.

I bought a couple of watches under $2K and they are great. Shipped within 2 business days and e-mail me tracking number too. I don't know if I would buy a high end watch from them where I can get better deal from TRF sellers......:)

I used them a few years ago and the transaction was fine. I do get a few pop ups regarding my cookie settings on my mac but its no biggie. If you can get what youre looking for from a trusted TRF member, go that route. Otherwise, I would have no problem buying from them.

I think their offices are in the diamond district in NYC even though their mailing address is in Brooklyn

They are okay. I've bought a bunch of watches including oris and suunto.. each around $1K without any problems. But they are a grey market dealer ... so no manufacturer warranty. But that apart they sell the genuine stuff.

I wouldn't buy from them again. Ever.

Watch out for refurbished shop soiled or used watches being sold as new and shoddy counterfeit JLC branded straps being fitted to $5k JLC watches which then fall apart after a few days of light wear. Also be sure to check what they advertise is what you receive (e.g. advertising gents sized case but supplying a unisex mid-size case). I finally got my full refund after a four month BBB dispute with them which may or may not have involved the aforementioned transgressions.

I am not saying everything they sell is not new or legit but...caveat emptor, as they say.

I bought a submariner last may from jomashop. The watch is authentic but the warranty card was not right which has a wrong serial number on it. Watch out and their service is not that good. I will not buy anything expensive there any more.

Id stay away. Ive had mixed experiences, but one bad one is enough to take them off the list. They claim all their watches are new-in-box. I bought an Omega Seamaster from them several years ago and it was clearly not NIB. Red dot seal had been opened, tool marks on the bracelet from resizing, no stickers on the watch....I returned it for another one, and got the same results. Eventually I just got a full refund.

It is hit or miss with them because before the Omega I had purchased a Tag that was perfectly brand new - no issues. Hence why I decided to shop with them again.

Its definitely a shady place in my opinion, but I will give them one thing, their customer service is friendly. Never had an issue getting an exchange or a refund.

Don't buy from Jomashop.com *warning*

I bought what I thought was Tag 1887 from Jomashop last month (March 2014). Upon receiving the watch, I took it to a jewler to make sure that it was authentic and they told me that it was a Chinese fake. I immediately called and received a RMA number for the return and sent it back via their instructions. They have since wrote me saying that they would not credit because they said I had worn it, which was absolutely not the case. I have gone to my credit card company to file a claim and I would recommend that everyone should stay away from purchasing from this dishonest company.

This has been one of the most frustrating experiences dealing with this company and I hope this note prevents others from having to go through the same thing I did. #jomashopfake, #dontbyfromjomashop
