Daytona 116520 Series Question

I’m a bit of a noob in terms of the 116520 variations. I understand there are differences from production years (dial variation, lume, clasp, rehaut, fat hands, etc).

My question would be for you experts, in general which year is most/least sought after?

Thank you.

My best guess: the last production year, 2016 is the best investment. There are numerous chances since the intro in ~2000. a few of them are concerning the bracelet and clasp. I think it was in 2014 it got blue lume...

Daytona 116520 Series Question

If future appreciation is your goal, a rising tide floats all boats methinks. Rather than trying to pick a future winner in the value race within the 520’s span, I’d say snagging any NOS full-set version (preferably in stickers) would be a solution. Such a safe queen could be very valuable in a decade.

For daily wear, any 2014-2016 is a good choice until your Daytona500 ship comes in

Thanks for your replies. I’m in the market for a white dial full set for daily wear. There are quite a price difference with the same model- I guess would probably go for reasonable sets no matter which year.

I already have a safe queen 500blk, too beautiful for daily use.
