White Daytona C

Just got it in. When I first got my Daytona I was convinced the black was the way to go. Now, I’m not so sure. White looks great!

Congrats! So jealous. Didn't you recently get the LVc too? Must be a big spender.

Cool! Had the opportunity to buy both and I chose white - preferred pics of the black but the white in person

White dial is best IMO because the hands are easier to see if nothing else. On the black face, especially in dim light, I couldn't see the hands to tell the time. So bad that I swapped dials from black to white on my (long gone) Daytona. But if you have young eyes that may not be a big deal... Congrats on the new Daytona C, mine is still on order, hope it comes in soon.

Got the black Daytona back in August of 2017 offered to me no wait. A month later I asked for a white one. Just got it, so 5-6 months? Something like that.

Thanks, the white face looks much better in person, IMO.

They both look great. I have the white which I love and have been on the hunt for a black. Take the stickers off and enjoy that baby :)

Both is best solution to the Daytona problem - especially in the 500 where both are perfect

I did the exact same thing. Black was by far my top pick. But after a little while White became my overwhelming favorite.

In the pics, the white dial looks like it would be much more legible at a glance. Is that the case? Over all I see the white dial ='s sporty. Black dial ='s dressy.

Its been a long time since I had a Daytona and it was a TT Daytona with slate dial way back in the day(early 90's).

Congratulations on your new DaytonaC. Looks like you're on a buying spree. Both black and white dials have their strengths. Wear them in good health. Cheers!

I think that is spot on.

I feel like the white can pull of sporty better, and maybe even pull off dressy better. At least for me. I hate wearing a solid black watch with a navy suit. So the white works much better in that scenario for me.

Happy with it that’s for sure. No more for me for the rest of the year.

I really do love the white as the black didn't do it for me personally when I had it on my wrist. But somehow I sing a different tune for the 116520....go figure....different strokes for different folks. Congrats on grabbing both OP!

Congrats! I love my white. I’m still waiting for a black. But I have the feeling I’ll always love the white dial more

I see it the opposite way. Look at most classic dress watch dials (PP, VC, ALS, etc) - almost always white/light silver. Black is what's used on sport watches like Submariner, Speedmaster, etc.

The black dial version with the black bezel just looks mean. Much sportier.
