I doubt the DSSD JC will be discontinued. I think a change to the Explorer 2 line would come before that. But who knows..

Most predictions are worth exactly what they cost to read.

Exactly.
It's sort of why Audi builds the R8. Performance credentials that halo the entire brand.

Agreed. 2020 is a wash for Rolex. They won't introduce anything new nor discontinue anything. Who knows when they even open back up?

To all you posters with only 20 years of Rolex experience, Get Off My Lawn!

No way the DSSD is being discontinued. As said it’s a halo piece, has decent sales, and rounds out a family of divers.

Just revise the movement, ex: 3235 in sub.

Guessing what Rolex is going to do is like making predictions about how much sex your neighbors are having. Then you find out they are getting divorced.

It’ll be interesting to see Rolex discontinue D-Blue and issue another dial variation.

I think the post was specifically about the James Cameron version

I agree the James Cameron will get turfed ( was never a fan of this Hollywood gimmick )

the original black dial deap sea will not be discontinued

Agree with this! But I don't think Rolex will be turfing any of their other dive watches...wouldn´t that be a bit like Apple ditching the iPhone?!

I hope for a new sub date with deep blue dial on SS - meaning that only black and blue on steel, and Hulk disappears. Other colors will be on PM.
