Thanks, Mike! It recently found a new home and the new owner is thrilled. But I have a new Pelagos Blue to help with the separation anxiety.

Many do but doubt that would ever happen. Tudor does like to surprise us, so we shall see.

I'm still kicking myself for not buying that off you. If I remember right you changed out the dial? Didn't you got from a TIGER dial to a non?

Yes, I went a long way 'round the barn on that one. Originally bought it as a red beater, but could bring myself to beat it. Then found an all silver dial, and about a year or two after that found, what for me has been the holy grail of dials, an early Big Block silver w/ black sub dials.

I know. I would actually prefer it over the Daytona. It’s the least they can do considering the wait times for the Daytona!

These are super under rated watches. Big blocks are a guilty pleasure for me. Thanks for sharing OP on the 50th anniversary notice.

I love doing the same! Swap out the strap/bracelet and you have a whole new watch. I’ve actually been contemplating sending mine back in to Dallas RSC to swap out my TIGER dial and hands so that I can have the advantage of the non tritium lume and make it more functional. When I originally had serviced 2 years ago RSC recommended against it to keep the originality of it, but it would be nice to have the lume at night. TIGER on the dial doesn’t bother me at all, in fact I like the splash of red it offers, but a newer dial will not have TIGER per RSC. Thoughts??

I would be surprised if RSC would change the dial & hands w/ anything other than what was originally used for that reference. But hey, if you can make it happen and it's what you want, go for it!

Wish they would drop the in house chronograph movement into the heritage chrono line. Not a fan of the black bay chrono.
