How often do you reset the time on your Rolex?

For me, when it starts getting annoying. I'm OK when the watch is a few minutes off. I am guessing I reset the it every few months or so.

My Sub 114060 is super accurate and looses around .5 sec per day so I normally set it to the correct time once every 4 to 6 weeks. It's five years old next month but it won't be going in for a service whilst it's keeping this level of time keeping.

I believe it's usually consistent, it will continue at - 1/2 in your particular example. You can try resting the watch crown, crown down, or dial up, to see the differences when not wearing your watch at night.

I rotate my watches when I need to change the date manually so once every two or three months.

I can’t recall a time where the watches have been noticeably different to my iPhone.

I wear watches 1-2 days at a time and most are automatics, so whenever I pick one and have to wind/set it. My ref 1630 is the worst, non-quickset. Takes forever and a thumb blister to get the date set.

so each get set once per month.

I like to keep my watch within a minute of real time plus or minus. Unfortunately my rolex sky dweller right now is losing 6 seconds A-day so that means I have to pop the Crown about every Few weeks if I said it fast a minute and then let it run down to slow a minute. For me that's too often and I'm waiting a few more months to let this new watch prove stable and then I'm going to send it in to rolex to get regulated. The good news is that so far it is extremely stable and tracks within a second, plus or minus, each day. Well within the specs

As it isn’t 100 % efficient, at times it seems to be some minutes slower or faster, so I seldom times consider resetting it

Check at night to NIST and manually regulate (crown up vs face up) as needed. Almost never need to hack it.

When I get a new piece or one new to me I set it and track it so I know what it's doing after that only when I notice it's off or I switch to another and have to wind.

I love these watches, I've been buying since the late 70s and I have no idea about these things. I also don't know if I've ever noticed one of my watches running too fast or too slow so I guess its not a big deal to me??
