What’s in your current rotation?

With our current shelter in place restrictions here, I’m not getting out as much as I’d like. I’m still wearing my watches at home and on essential trips and why wouldn’t I? Wearing a watch is part of my daily uniform.

I’m currently rotating between my SubC and BB GMT. The reason is that the BB GMT is my latest acquisition and I miss wearing the sub. I also think these are great watches in tough times.

I love the power reserve in the GMT because it gives me the flexibility to wear the SubC more if I’d like. I don’t have to worry about having to wind either watch!

So I’m curious. What is in your current rotation and your reasoning for wearing it (if any)?

Have a great day everyone!

Much of my collection hasn’t been getting any love lately because I got a bunch of long awaited pieces at the same time. LOL

So my rotation has been of late

Black Daytona C
Hulk
Black Daytona C
Hulk
Etc.

My Breitling and Panerai have been screaming out for me.

That’s a strong rotation! How long did you have to wait for the DaytonaC?

Nice! Are you rotating them daily? How are you keeping them from winding down?

Which SMP is that? And what is the last watch? Looks very nice. And of course, good choice on the BB GMT!

A year or so. The funny part is I got the white Daytona C within 2 months of launch and hated it. I sold it to a friend.

The Speedy is the 2020 Tokyo Olympics LE (but what speedy isn’t a LE?). Manual wind so I just give it a few turns every other day. The last watch is a Muhle Glashutte Seebatallion. Really nice watch for the buck! Similar specs to the Tudor but doesn’t use the jump hour.

Oh man! I hope your friend realizes the solid you did him.

Did you sell it at a slight premium at least? All kidding aside, I appreciate that you like what you like. These days so many people try to shoehorn themselves into something just because it’s hot. But then again, hasn’t it always been that way...

What’s in your current rotation?

Here’s what I’m rotating through these days.

I rotate no-date Subs for long periods of time. Hard for any other watch I own to win the battle for my wrist.

Thanks for responding. The great thing about this forum is encountering watches I’ve never seen before. BTW, the panda dial on the speedy is . And yes, omega LE’s are a little ridiculous.

Nice combo!

I realize during this time that people aren’t traveling. For those wearing GMTs, what’s your alternate time zone? Mine is HK in memory of my father.

Blue 4500v
Also worn the 116710LN and the IW3777-25 on occasion briefly before that started, but the Overseas is the only one I got with me in lockdown

Never a ryhme or reason with me. I've been going in spurts lately wearing one for awhile instead of my usual daily rotation. I couldn't take my new VCO off for three months until i recently picked up a Planet Ocean but i always make time for a Rolex, their the backbone of my collection.

I don't rotate, I use 'em both together. Just kidding, the PO 8900 is for duty and GMT II for private life.

Nah, I wear one for a few days and then pull something else. I’m wearing the BBBBB today, but hadn’t worn it for a month or so. I’m a slow rotator. LOL
