You Are Now in Charge of Rolex’s Next Release!

You have just won a contest from Rolex. Your prize? You have sole discretion to design Rolex’s next official release. Everything. Materials, complications, colors, variations, MSRP, etc. What would be your ultimate release?

Use your imagination and have fun!

How about an Aquaman GMT?

Green & Patina Orange bezel
Black Dial
Green GMT hand
Jubilee bracelet.

What about a red hulk?
Red bezel
Red dial
Oyster Bracelet.

Would absolutely love to see a White face yachmaster.
Keep the red seconds hand.
Employee some red font on the dial

Above all, I would make it mandatory for ALL rolex models to receive a white gold crown on the dial. I'm always jealous when I look at a DJ and see my Sub C w/ only a printed crown.

Thanks for posting this OP! Very fun and looking forward to what other members have to offer.

- ND sub with no crowngurds, slimmer chamfered lugs and red SUBMARINER text, also a glidelock more compact like the easy-link size

- Full RG OP39 with rhodium dial and fully brushed bracelet

Thats all

I wouldn't mess with the design in the catalog per se' much but.....

1) I would bring back concealed clasp jubilee and apply it to 36, 40 and 41mm pieces.
2) I would package bracelets with oysterflex models and vice versa for those models that come on bracelet. I have a hard time paying Rolex money for a watch with rubber band as only option. I'd like to have both.
3) I'd like to see a fluted bezel on Plat DD
4) Ceramic bezel on EXP II
5) Clear casebacks. Yeah, the movements may not be considered art like other marques but I think it's still cool to be able to see it.

Blue bezel/face SS sub, but different blue than sunburst or flat blue used in bluesy/smurf. Maybe a darker blue.

Daydate perpetual Calendar would be a pretty cool movement.

In terms of pure aesthetics a white faced sub would be interesting...

All sports watches on leather straps and packaged with NATOS. No more bracelets. Watch people's heads explode.

Hulk in full yellow gold.

I would discontinue the BLNR, and the red SD43.

I think the most obvious thing for me would be a Blue Dial/Bezel SS Submariner. I'm going to take a guess and say it would be the hottest SS Rolex within minutes of release, or at least right next to the Panda Daytona and Blue SkyD.

Dare I say it, but a 42mm SS Ceramic Daytona with a date window integrated at the 6 o'clock. Would have the same dial as the 519LN and come with both the SS and oysterflex bracelets.

Dark Rhodium sub (dial and bezel) with slimmer lugs (like previous sub) with red Submariner text, brushed oyster bracelet.

Would buy today....

I'm amazed they have not come out with this yet.

I would take the current Daytona and GMT line, keep it the exact same but enlarge the cases to 43MM. The Daytona looks small on a childs wrist.

Blue/red GMT Master II - everything the current BLRO case has, but with the thinner bezel font of the older versions in the ceramic rather than the chunky font today. Oh and make the dial blue (can attest the WG Pepsi with blue dial is absolutely stunning).

Add a fully-brushed oyster bracelet and that’s perfection.
