First time? Wow...

We watch it every year when we put up the trees and decorations. My wife prefers White Christmas, but I think I might like Holiday Inn a little bit more.

Enjoy the movie, let us know how you like it.

1) Love Actually
2) Last Holiday
3) The Holiday
4) White Christmas
5) It’s a Wonderful Life
6) A Muppet Christmas

I suppose I just turn into a big mushy mess over the Christmas season as I get older.

Memories of watching Polar Express with my girls on Christmas Eve, puts it in a class by itself.

It’s a Wonderful Life and The Polar Express.
Local theatre has both of these on the big screen, cost to get in is a canned food donation. We always go Sams Club and get a case of something to donate. If you’ve never seen The a Polar Express on the big screen you’re missing out on a great experience!

I am unaware of any worthwhile Australian Christmas movies - perhaps the locals can enlighten me - As a big Chevy Chase fan, National Lampoon's "Christmas Vacation" has always been my 'go-to' Christmas movie, an excruciatingly perceptive insight to the event.

George C. Scott version of "A Christmas Carol", as mentioned by several others.

"Trading Places".

Other less commercial entries.

And a very guilty pleasure.."On Her Majesty's Secret Service", one of my all time favorite Bond movies, shot at Christmas time.

Another unconventional Christmas movie is “The Thin Man”. Nick and Nora Charles drunkenly navigate the Holiday party scene of post-prohibition New York as they solve a murder mystery. It’s a lot of fun.
