Feedback on The Real Real?
Hello Rolex Forums, Excited to join the conversations here. I’m embarking on purchasing my first Rolex and I’ve been hunting around for a bit of time now. I’ve been perusing The Real Real since they have a number of approachable price points for Rolexs. I’m curious if anyone has purchased a used Rolex off of The Real Real and if it was a positive or negative experience (found out the watch was fake). On their website, they claim they inspect every watch for authenticity, but curious if fake ones still slip through the cracks.

Thanks for the quick feedback. Do you trust Bob’s Watches out of California? I’m leaning towards buying used for my first watch and noticed they have a pretty nice selection.

YOU SHOULD TRY ONE OF OUR TRUSTED SELLERS. Find one in the DC area, or use DavidSW, tell them what you want and let them source a good model.

Yup, they trumpet that everything they sell is authentic, yet have admitted to selling counterfeit products...whether that was intentional or due to a lack of homework doesn't matter, it's enough to keep me away.
